Musk Backs Brand Amidst Controversy

Elon Musk has expressed his support for comedian Russell Brand, who is refuting ‘very serious allegations’. On Friday night, the 48-year-old comedian uploaded a video where he asserted that he’s facing a ‘coordinated media attack’, having been approached by a TV network and a newspaper presenting him with a series of ‘extremely egregious and aggressive attacks’.

Transitioning to more specific details, Brand mentioned some ‘ridiculous claims’, among them suggestions that he ‘shouldn’t be able to attack mainstream media narratives’. Yet, he also stressed that there were ‘some very serious allegations that I absolutely refute’. Delving deeper into the past, the star of “Hot Tub Time Machine”, now a podcast host for “Stay Free With Russell Brand”, pointed out that the accusations connect to his time in the ‘mainstream’ media and his promiscuous period. However, he firmly maintained, “the relationships that I had were absolutely always consensual.”

Musk has shown support for the comedian, claiming that the media didn’t like ‘competition’ from Brand

Furthermore, he drew parallels to previous ‘coordinated media attacks’ against personalities like the contentious podcast host, Joe Rogan. He also noted his past branding as a conspiracy theorist. Lending his voice to the situation, the Twitter – aka X – owner, Elon Musk, commented on the video, saying, “Of course. They don’t like competition.”

Fans Rally and Speculations Rise

Many fans responded, aligning with Musk’s sentiment, asserting they ‘have to stand with Russell’. Some even suggested the idea of Musk and Brand collaborating on a podcast.

Russell Brand strongly refutes the claims made against him

However, Brand has kept the specifics of the ‘very, very serious’ allegations under wraps. Nevertheless, he confidently claims to possess ‘witnesses whose evidence directly contradicts the narratives that these two mainstream media outlets are striving to craft, seemingly in what appears to me as a coordinated assault.’

Presumably, his remarks pertain to a special episode of Channel 4’s Dispatches, scheduled for Saturday night. Until now, no concrete details have emerged about the nature of this investigation. Amidst all this, social media is rife with speculation regarding the 90-minute special, with unverified whispers on gossip platforms suggesting it might revolve around multiple comedians.
