Myleene Klass explained she “wasn’t single at the time and declined his offer.” Klass offered some words of wisdom, stating, “I can’t say too much about it. But if you are uncomfortable and your instinct says no, get out of there.”

In the wake of this media storm, Russell Brand took to social media to share a video statement. In no uncertain terms, he denied all the allegations, asserting that his past relationships were consensual. Brand’s stance was crystal clear: “Now, during that time of promiscuity, the relationships I had were absolutely always consensual. I was always transparent about that. And to see that transparency metastasized into something criminal that I absolutely deny makes me question, is there another agenda at play?”

Nevertheless, public opinion is divided online. While some have rallied behind Klass, others have cast aspersions on her motives. Critics have took to Facebook, with comments such as “Myleene Klass-less” and mockingly joking: “‘Look at me I’ve not been in the limelight for ages so I’m jumping on the bandwagon.'”

Another sarcastically quipped, “I’m so glad with MK’s advice, I’d never have come up with that piece of common sense myself… glad she shared it.” Only time will tell how this saga unfolds for Brand and whether he will be able to continue his media career.
