British actress Tamzin Outhwaite dropped a shock bomb on Twitter, unveiling further indiscretions by her ex-husband, Lucifer star Tom Ellis, before swiftly deleting the post. The EastEnders star claimed to be still uncovering “more infidelities and lies that he committed.”
In the now-deleted tweet, Tamzin wrote, “Ten years since the father of my kids walked out on us for the final time. I still meet new people on jobs who reveal more infidelities and lies that he committed.” Despite the emotional storm of her past, Outhwaite expressed her current state of happiness, stating, “But thankfully my heart and soul are clear and clean, and I could not be happier right now.”
Many of Tamzin’s famous friends, including Denise Van Outen, expressed their support following her revelations. Tamzin later deleted the tweet, apologising to those her revelation may have upset, assuring that the “most important relationship you will ever have is with yourself.”
Turning Point: Love Amidst the Age Gap
Despite past heartbreak, the actress found solace in her current partner, Tom Child, whom she lauds as a ‘dream stepdad.’ Outhwaite, 52, has been together with Child for several years now, overcoming their 21-year age gap.
She often praises Child’s bond with her daughters, Florence, 13, and nine-year-old Marnie. She recently posted a ‘gratitude tweet’, admiring Child for his support and kindness, even as he juggles many tasks, from school runs to cleaning and dog walking.
Tamzin acknowledges that while her children sometimes give Child a hard time, “deep down they know he is kind, he cares and loves them deeply.” She also acknowledges her own luck in having found him.
Tom Ellis: Life After Tamzin
Meanwhile, Tamzin’s ex-husband, Tom Ellis, moved on and remarried American screenwriter Meaghan Oppenheimer in 2019. The couple reportedly started dating sometime in 2015, and Ellis proposed to Oppenheimer in March 2017.
Oppenheimer, a well-acclaimed screenwriter and actress, is known for her work in shows like “Fear The Walking Dead” and “Queen America.” The couple has remained childless so far. Many of Ellis’s co-stars from Lucifer attended their wedding in 2019.
As Tamzin moves forward from her painful past, she finds happiness in her present relationship. Outhwaite and Ellis appear to have found love again, albeit on separate paths. In the end, it seems the most significant relationship remains the one you have with yourself.
